Most of our WSS are imported from top show kennels all around Europe, and come from lines that are hard to find here in the US. Our Program
At Moonlight Berger Blanc Suisse, we prioritize the well-being of our dogs and are dedicated to ensuring that all our puppies meet breed standards. We perform comprehensive health and genetic testing on all our dogs to ensure that their pups can excel and perform in conformation, agility, show, tracking, herding, and as both service dogs and loving companions.
As a small, family-operated kennel, the well-being of our dogs is our priority. We are committed to making sure they're healthy and thriving. From environment to supplements, we give them the best life ensuring their longevity. They are apart of our family.
We conduct thorough evaluations by temperament and health testing our shepherds, part of it through OFA. This series of genetic and radiographic exams help us assess each dog's health, to identify any potential risks of inheriting genetic diseases. We uphold the highest standards for our dogs, poor quality and bad genes are never tolerated at Moonlight Kennels.
We Set Our Puppies Up For
Success
From the second our puppies are born, we start preparing them for their future family, making sure they don't develop temperament issues or lack of social skills. We expose our pups to a number of things, such as loud noises, vehicles, other animals, chaotic situations, and of course, new people. While the White Swiss Shepherd is said to be a "more timid/shy" breed, we know there's always a root issue. Now obviously it could be the lineage, if the sire and dam are timid, more often than not their puppies will be the same. But at Moonight Kennels we take in deep consideration before crossing, and won't breed dogs that don't meet our temperament standards. Just like any dog, without lots of interaction they'll be scared and reactive, and that's why we'll never endure this issue. On day 1, we perform Early Neurological Stimulation on each one of our pups, up until 16 days of age. Once they hit 3 weeks old, and start developing their personalities, we handle them on a daily basis providing lots of ways for them to test themselves, resulting in confidence. We train/socialize them based on trust and understanding. All of our puppies are fun, playful, outgoing, and of course, absolutely gorgeous.

The Berger Blanc Suisse, also known as the White Swiss Shepherd, is an outgoing and social breed, similar to the German Shepherd but with a more relaxed temperament, making them easier to own. Known for their intelligence, these dogs are highly trainable, great with children, and much more friendly towards strangers then your typical shepherd. They are versatile and enjoy engaging in a variety of activities.
